some say that maturity is a bitter disapointment, is it like that for you?

Three years ago I wrote the text below and today is very hard to agree with myself.

i don't believe in any religion, any politic regime that can save the world or even a country, any countries or frontiers. i don't believe in the perfect life style, healthy food and exercise are not the answer for everything. i don't believe you can help those who don't want to be helped. i don't believe you can make one person happy. i don't believe you have a lot to say. and that you can judge others.

i don't believe in many things.

i believe in this. i believe in people. i believe in generosity and in being grateful, in thanking each gift you acknowledge. i believe in faith, prayers, carols, meditation. i believe in affection, hugs, kisses, smiles. i believe in music, in hearing each word or none, closing your eyes while the melody reaches perfection. i believe in being spontaneous, opinions, movements, songs. i believe in sensivity, in thinking about the homeless that begs on your feet, in the old lady that searches food in the bin, in changing place to allow a couple to be together.
mainly, i believe in you
